Mabrinix Privacy Policy

Mabrinix ("we", "our", or "us") operates mobile applications (the "Apps"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data, in compliance with Google Play Store policies.

Our Apps generally fall into a few functional categories — utility apps (e.g. counters, scanners), educational/quiz apps, content-library apps (e.g. browsable prompt or reference libraries), and games (e.g. word puzzle games). Not every section below applies to every App; where a data practice or permission is specific to a category of App, this is noted.

1. Information Collected Automatically

We do not personally collect any user information. However, the Apps may automatically collect certain anonymous usage data via third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob. This includes:

  • Device information (model, operating system, app version).
  • Crash reports and diagnostic logs (via Firebase Crashlytics), to help us identify and fix bugs.
  • Anonymous usage statistics (e.g., which features are used).
  • Advertising identifiers for personalized or non-personalized ads.

Our apps may store certain data (such as barcode scan history or saved results) locally on your device for your convenience. This data is not shared, transmitted, or accessible to us in any way. You can delete it anytime by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.

Content-library Apps may fetch content (such as text and images) from our own backend database to display within the App. This content is publicly readable and is not linked to any personal information about you. No account, sign-in, or personal data is required to browse or use this content.

2. Permissions

The permissions required depend on the type of App:

  • Camera: Needed only in scanner-type Apps, to scan barcodes and QR codes.
  • Storage (only for Android 9 and below): Needed only in scanner-type Apps, to save generated barcodes or files to your device.

Note: Arrow Puzzle: Tap Away and Word Clash Arena do not use your Camera or Storage.

3. Ads and Analytics

We use Google AdMob and Firebase to display ads and monitor app performance. These services may automatically collect device information and usage data to provide personalized ads and improve app functionality. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device settings or the AdChoices page.

4. Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect data collected automatically by third-party services. However, no method is 100% secure.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Apps are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Data Deletion Requests

We do not directly collect or store any personal data on our servers, and therefore do not retain any data ourselves. However, our Apps use third-party services (Google AdMob and Firebase) which may collect device identifiers, crash logs, and usage data, retained according to each provider's own schedule.

If you wish to request deletion of data associated with these services, you may do so by:

  • Firebase Analytics: Learn how Google manages or deletes data at Firebase Privacy & Security.
  • Google AdMob: You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads). You may also manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
  • Meta Audience Network: You can manage ad personalization via the Meta Ad Preferences page, or review their data practices at the Meta Privacy Policy.

7. GDPR Compliance (For EU Users)

If you are located in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Since we do not collect or process any personal data ourselves, these rights primarily apply to third-party services used in our apps (such as Google AdMob and Firebase).

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.

9. Third-Party SDKs Used

Our Apps include third-party software development kits (SDKs) that may collect device information, usage data, or advertising identifiers. These SDKs include:

  • Firebase Analytics – collects anonymous usage statistics and device identifiers. Privacy Info
  • Firebase Crashlytics – collects crash logs and diagnostic data to help identify and fix app crashes. Privacy Info
  • Google AdMob – collects advertising identifiers to display personalized or non-personalized ads. Privacy Info
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – used in select Apps to deliver push notifications; assigns a device registration token used to send you notifications remotely. Privacy Info
  • Meta Audience Network (Facebook) – used as an ad mediation partner in select Apps (currently: Tasbeeh Counter – Zikr Tally); collects advertising identifiers and device information to display ads. Privacy Info
  • ML Kit Barcode Scanning – scans barcodes and QR codes locally on your device. Privacy Info
  • ZXing – generates and scans barcodes locally on your device. Info

These SDKs handle data according to their own privacy policies. You can review, manage, or opt out of data collection as described in the links above.

Feedback Feature

If you use the in-app Feedback feature, the app opens your device's email app with a message addressed to contact.mabrinix@gmail.com. This message is pre-filled with your feedback text along with basic diagnostic details — your app version, Android version, and device model — to help us troubleshoot your issue. This information is only sent if you choose to send the email; the app does not transmit it automatically or store it anywhere.
